Designed by an Englishman, the Brighton Hotel dates back to the end of the 19th century. Its name originates from the warm friendship that existed between France and England during the reign of Queen Victoria, and it was frequented for many decades by British gentry. It overlooks the Tuileries Garden and many of Paris's most beautiful monuments. The lounge, the breakfast-room and most of the 65 guestrooms have been refurbished, with refinement, combining the "spirit of the place", comfort, elegance and quality.
